Hey me and tammy were talking about this the other day and trying to find a venue in hackney
There’s a nice jazz cafe under the arches of hackney central – bring your own alcohol place which is nice x
Any ideas??
And when were you thinking of? April?
Adele, if you’d like to suggest a date, then feel free. We could do it mid-May. But what about exams etc?
Not everyone who came to the first SBM was a trot. Jon Rogers, Marsha-Jane, Andrew B, John Angelis, Stroppybird, myself, and TWP were or are now Labour Party members (I’m a Trot too!). There were quite a few Trots, but it was more of a social event and gossip session if anything else. I mean, I’m sure Shamik Das was invited at some point…
If you are coming, make sure you bring Tom too. And if you want more Croslandites to come along, then you should invite them on your blog :p

I think we need to jut pick a date as not everyone will be able to make every one. April would be good.
So, mid-April then, everyone? How does April 14 strike everyone?
A date is going to be decided by the end of this week.
Adele – surely Tom could tear himself away for just one weekend? Plus, if he’s writing about something lefty (which I bet he will), there will be people there who could help him.
April 14th sounds great. Best not to leave it till after the local elections because that’ll be into the “short campaign” for the leadership, and most of us will be somewhat preoccupied. I can see myself getting roped in by a certain comrade to sit up till the small hours printing off his rapid rebuttals – it’s happened before – you know who you are you bastard…;-)
Ah damn! I am out of town that weekend! Any other weekend in April is great for me. Not May due to exams but of course don’t change the date on my account!

Nope, it’s going to be in Central London so it’s easy for others from across the UK to get to, and Hackney is a pain in the arse to get to.
I’ll scour for pubs/venues where we could host it when the date has been decided.
As for a date – I was thinking April but the students! We’ll see what others come up with,
